About

Founder, software architect, ML engineer, and independent trader. More than two decades of building software, trading real markets, and documenting what actually happened.

I’ve spent more than two decades building software. That’s included roles as an engineer, architect, CTO, ML engineer, product builder, and - more recently - independent trader. The thread connecting all of it is a stubborn interest in how systems actually work, whether that’s a codebase, a trading strategy, or a decision-making process.

What I Work On

This site is organized around four pillars:

  • Projects - Libraries, tools, and experiments I’ve built. A Go ephemeris toolkit, a custom backtester, AI agent workflows, browser extensions, and older frameworks that still reflect how I think about software.
  • Technology - AI workflows, Go systems, JavaScript, architecture decisions, and the practical side of building things that hold up.
  • Trading - Backtesting, strategy evaluation, psychology, and the infrastructure needed to test ideas without lying to yourself. I’m a funded trader. Fractiz - an advanced trading analytics system I’m building - is one part of that work.
  • Time - Time cycles, ephemeris-driven research, and the overlap between celestial data and measurable outcomes. The tooling is already real (goeph, ephemeris pipelines), even if the writing is still catching up.

Background

I started with terminal and desktop applications. Over the years that evolved into full-stack SaaS platforms, ML pipelines, and technical leadership. I’ve led engineering teams, mentored developers, bootstrapped products, and consulted across domains where both clarity and execution matter.

I’ve shipped browser extensions, static site generators, realtime frameworks, trading infrastructure, and AI tooling - some open source, some as products, some just for my own workflow.

The work I’m most drawn to sits at the intersection of code, data, and decision-making - where the abstractions run out and you have to build something that actually works.

This Site

A working record of what I build, what I learn, and what I’m still figuring out. Also a place to connect with people working on similar problems.
